CellGENTherapies is the GMP-certified manufacturing facility for cell and gene-based therapies at Ghent University Hospital. As part of the cell and tissue bank department, it provides small-scale manufacturing services for mRNA, LNPs, CAR T-cells and virus-specific T cells to pharma, biotech and academic partners.
During this business consultancy assignment, I helped professionalize CellGENTherapies’ commercial foundation. I worked on price setting, cost analyses, client pipeline enrichment, marketing communication and the follow-up of national and international funding statuses.
In parallel, I guided negotiations and deal closing with large industry partners, strengthening the bridge between a highly specialized academic manufacturing facility and the expectations of pharma and biotech clients.
