From a voice of customer analysis towards a business plan and the pitching of a ground breaking high tech solution.

I was asked to screen for potential applications of a photonics technology in the hospital environment by setting up a voice of customer market analysis. Based on the feedback, completed with desk research, I have mapped the medical disciplines with appetite for this care technology. I made an analysis of the revenue potential, setup a go to market plan and created a full-fledged business & financial plan. I was asked to pitch the project to potential investors. With success: in the meantime, the venture Axithra has launched.

Katrien made a comprehensive market analysis by talking with experts in different medical disciplines in Europe. At IMEC we have appreciated the early market assessment that Katrien has been completing on this very interesting and promising technology. Her feedback and learnings are very well perceived by potential investors during fundraising.
